Motivations

I have been thinking about what is motivating me recently to make such a drastic lifestyle change. I recall being single, I was motivated by more trivial and cliche things. Even as a grown man, there is pressure to look a certain way, perform and prove our worth through whatever means--money, fitness etc.

Now I have been married two years and just recently celebrated the birth of my daughter. What an awesome change this had made in my life. Mind you, during my wife's pregnancy and right after, I really let myself go. I have never eat so much junk and treated my health so poorly.

I see my wife totally different now, it was one thing when she was my wife and it's another when they become the mother of your child. My daughter, Lord willing, she have a long healthy life, thinking about their futures, has got me thinking about mine; I want to be there, I want to see it.

Another motivating factor for me, is my faith. I believe God allowed me this day, I believe he gave me the opportunity to do something with it. What a waste to sit around, polluting our bodies with junk, gorging on 'entertainment' and taking for granted the day we have been given.

Also, another motivating factor for me is - I'm getting tired of my boobs jiggling when I brush my teeth in the morning. :-)
